Serving the Children of the World
Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Serving Our Community Since 1949

The Kiwanis Club of McKinney Texas serves the residents of Collin County through youth programs, community service projects, and support of other charitable organizations.
We partner with: Meals-On-Wheels, Community Lifeline, Community Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Collin County Boys and Girls Clubs, McKinney Independent School District, McKinney Police Education, City of McKinney. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), MaineGait Horse Therapy, Collin County Children’s and Community Health Clinic, Challenge Air, The Texas Ramps Project, Habitat for Humanity and many other service organizations.

Our club was awarded Volunteer McKinney's 2014 Volunteer Group Award at the Spirit of McKinney celebration. The award is presented annually to a group of outstanding volunteers who have joined together in service to others as they contribute to a local nonprofit, cause or organization.

Our club also provides financial support for UNICEF and Kiwanis International's Eliminate Project. The project seeks to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus, a disease that once killed nearly 60,000 babies and mothers each year.
We Did It!
As of 10/5/2015, our club raised $62,000, even more than the $60,000 we had pledged in support of the Eliminate Project. If you would like to help us protect even more lives in the developing world, you may make a donation below to add to our total.

Eliminate Progress Dashboard

Christmas Food Boxes

Our big box is at the Super 1 food store. It is not by the front doors, but on the next row. (It has Christmas lights to make it easy to find!) The store will have prepackaged bags for sale and gift coupons at the registers. We will assemble the boxes on Friday December 18th and then deliver the food on December 19th.
Please go to Super 1
and buy a bag or coupon!

During Kiwanis International’s centennial year, we’ve been celebrating the power of 100. But now that number represents more than just a look back at our past. Now it represents a big step forward.
Kiwanis International is pleased to announce that as of August 18, 2015 The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus has reached US$100 million in cash and pledges.
That means the Kiwanis family has saved or protected more than 55 million lives since 2010. And it leaves us just US$10 million away from our fundraising goal of US$110 million.
Five years ago, we made a commitment. Now we’re on the verge of making history. When that moment comes ... how will you be remembered in Kiwanis history?
Make sure you’re part of it! Give today. Then share our big news—and this big opportunity—with family, friends and others.
