The Salvation Army is an international movement, whose message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The Salvation Army’s community center in McKinney is located east of Central Expressway (US 75) and less than a mile from the Town Lake Recreation Center. Here, the Salvation Army provides Christian worship services, a food pantry, and a clothing closet.
